Sabrina & Family - Fun at the park!
We've had the pleasure of working with Sabrina and her family for a number of years now. First with Sabrina and her maternity photos, then with Ava (their first little one) and now it's time for Aidan to get his pictures done too!
We began at their house and played downstairs for a while with the kids, but as soon as we mentioned the word "park", Aidan knew what to do. "Coat daddy?" he said. And we were off!
This is the beautiful little face that I met at the door today. Ready to have fun!
There are definitely some musical genes in this one! Sing it Aidan!
My little friend Ava (Aidan's older sister) also came along and she was a great help. She told me that there were lots of things that I needed to see at the park. Always up for adventure, I asked her to lead the way!
Of course, first stop - the swings! Aidan looked a little apprehensive at first...
So mom came over to give him a little tickle! Thanks Sabrina!
Not to be outdone, Ava said she could get on the swings by herself! I exclaimed "No way!" and a few seconds later, voila - she's up and swinging! Thanks dad for giving her a little push to get things going.
Weeeeeeeeee!@@@@
Time to check out the rest of the climbing equipment. Ava showed no fear as she easily climbed up.
Aidan wanted to come up too! Doesn't he look great?
Remember when you were little and being 'king of the castle' was the coolest thing? No matter how high up you were, if you were higher than someone else, it's your castle! Look at the expression of pure joy on Ava's face!
Sabrina and Ava take a quick break for a portrait. Aww!
Now we have a quick walk around the park.
But Aidan wants to go back to the slides.
Catch me mom!
Aren't they an adorable family?
Back inside at home, Aidan shows off his reading skills.
I like pictures of little toes... so cute!
Aidan wanted to play peek-a-boo with mom. He first pushed her out the door and closed it. You can see as he looked up at me that he was up to something! He opened the door and "peek-a-boo"! Everyone laughing! You can see after that he was getting closer to dad, cause Sabrina would be coming to get him next!
We moved into Ava's room, and found a really cool screen to hide behind. I love this picture.
And then bam! Out he jumps and here's Aidan!
Thank you to Aiden, Ava, Sabrina and Rocco. What an amazing afternoon of fun and photos! Keep visiting the blog, because we will be posting the slideshow soon! You guys were wonderful!

New! Photo Jewelry is here!
Drumroll....We're thrilled to announce that we're now working with Kotori Photo Jewelry - just in time for the holidays! I can't say enough good things about the products and our new supplier. All of their solid sterling silver pieces are handmade and waterproof, made with your favourite images. I knew they were the perfect fit for us when I read this on their website:
"Every picture tells a story. And we believe that story, that favorite moment caught in time, should be carried with you forever. That’s the premise behind Kotori." Pretty cool, right?
Check out the two catalogues below, and then start thinking about who's on your Christmas list this year. You'll find great choices for everyone, including the guys in your life. I know I've already dropped a few not-so-subtle hints about the "Story" sterling silver necklace!

Happy Random Acts of Kindness Day
Did you know it's Random Acts of Kindness Day? We've loved working with Liz and everyone at the Niagara Community Foundation for the past few years. When we saw their ideas for Random Acts of Kindness we just had to share it! We've already done several things from the list for each other and clients and it feels great. Our daughter Sydney has even been showering our pets with extra love.

aww schucks!
We recently got this email and it was so amazing that we just had to share. Melissa sent this to us after seeing her blog post below. It reminded us why we love what we do, and it makes all of the hard work so worth it.
"Omg!!! I LOVE those pictures! You guys are truly amazing. I know I told you before...but you really compliment each other so well! You both have such a great eye. You cannot be taught that. It has to be "in you". And it is in both of you. What talent :) I have never looked so nice. I remember telling you how I absolutely hate having my picture taken...and I love your photos. You have no idea what a big deal that is for me to say. I am always the one hiding from the camera. Thank you so much for making me feel and look pretty! You are going to be our photographers for everything!"
Thanks so Melissa for letting us share her sweet words. It means so much from the bottom of our hearts. We had a great time working with them and can't wait to be their photographers for "everything"!
