Luca & Family - An amazing portrait session in an idyllic setting

We always love seeing our old friend Luca and his girls - his lovely wife Lisa and their daughters Lauren and Julia. Last weekend Chris had an awesome time with them at the Niagara Gorge. Isn't the setting gorgeous? We've known Luca and his family for years, so we've enjoyed watching his daughters grow. Lauren was only two when she had her first session with us, and look at her now!

They're as excited to see the images as we are to share them, so here's a sneak peak. It was too hard to select a few favourites, so I had to share lots!

Stay tuned to for their slideshow and more of our favourite images from this great day. Thanks again for choosing us to work with guys!

Sabrina & Family - Fun at the park!

We've had the pleasure of working with Sabrina and her family for a number of years now. First with Sabrina and her maternity photos, then with Ava (their first little one) and now it's time for Aidan to get his pictures done too!

We began at their house and played downstairs for a while with the kids, but as soon as we mentioned the word "park", Aidan knew what to do. "Coat daddy?" he said. And we were off!

This is the beautiful little face that I met at the door today. Ready to have fun!

There are definitely some musical genes in this one! Sing it Aidan!

My little friend Ava (Aidan's older sister) also came along and she was a great help. She told me that there were lots of things that I needed to see at the park. Always up for adventure, I asked her to lead the way!

Of course, first stop - the swings! Aidan looked a little apprehensive at first...

So mom came over to give him a little tickle! Thanks Sabrina!

Not to be outdone, Ava said she could get on the swings by herself! I exclaimed "No way!" and a few seconds later, voila - she's up and swinging! Thanks dad for giving her a little push to get things going.

Weeeeeeeeee!@@@@

Time to check out the rest of the climbing equipment. Ava showed no fear as she easily climbed up.

Aidan wanted to come up too! Doesn't he look great?

Remember when you were little and being 'king of the castle' was the coolest thing? No matter how high up you were, if you were higher than someone else, it's your castle! Look at the expression of pure joy on Ava's face!

Sabrina and Ava take a quick break for a portrait. Aww!

Now we have a quick walk around the park.

But Aidan wants to go back to the slides.

Catch me mom!

Aren't they an adorable family?

Back inside at home, Aidan shows off his reading skills.

I like pictures of little toes... so cute!

Aidan wanted to play peek-a-boo with mom. He first pushed her out the door and closed it. You can see as he looked up at me that he was up to something! He opened the door and "peek-a-boo"! Everyone laughing! You can see after that he was getting closer to dad, cause Sabrina would be coming to get him next!

We moved into Ava's room, and found a really cool screen to hide behind. I love this picture.

And then bam! Out he jumps and here's Aidan!

Thank you to Aiden, Ava, Sabrina and Rocco. What an amazing afternoon of fun and photos! Keep visiting the blog, because we will be posting the slideshow soon! You guys were wonderful!
